Material Handling Equipment

The calendar page has turned to March. Those of us living in northwest climates start to dream of the milder weather to come. Sports fans long for the start of March Madness. And for supply chain professionals, thoughts turn to Chicago. Yes, Chicago.

That’s because later this month March 23-26 to be exact more than 35,000 supply chain professionals will gather at McCormick Place  for ProMat 2015. Held in the Windy City every other year, ProMat is the largest material handling show found anywhere in North America. This year’s show is expected to be bigger and better than ever, and has already achieved a record number of registrants, according to MHI, the industry association that is behind ProMat.

CEOs, vice presidents of supply chain, facility managers, design engineers, and students from more than 110 countries will be there to see the wares of over 800 exhibitors. These vendors will showcase the latest innovations in storage, moving, staging, picking, and shipping solutions, among others. ProMat is one of the few places where supply chain professionals can get actual hands-on experience with the systems they are considering. ProMat provides attendees access to the latest
material handling
and logistics equipment and technologies.

Some things you may want to know about Material Handling Equipment.

Material handling equipment provides an efficient, accurate, and cost-effective method of moving goods easily and swiftly across an organization.

Material-handling equipment is equipment that relate to the movement, storage, control and protection of materials, goods and products throughout the process of manufacturing, distribution, consumption and disposal. Material handling equipment is the mechanical equipment involved in the complete system.

Global demand for material handling products is projected to increase five percent annually through 2018 to $140 billion.

Logistick Provides material handling equipment to the domestic and international supply Chain.

We manufactures many one-way disposable cargo restraint systems to prevent longitudinal movements.

Our products can be installed by one person, withstand up to 15 times more force than metal load locks and provide maximum adhesion to all transportation equipment surfaces still allowing for normal flexing of trailer walls. They are inexpensive when compared with alternative restraint systems and are disposable, allowing one-way shipments with no need to maintain ownership.
